Bibelhauser Brothers Ink Record Deal
April 8, 2025
Dothan, Alabama – Common Loon Records is pleased to announce the signing of the Bibelhauser Brothers to their roster. Known for performances that showcase brother harmonies, musical improvisation, and forward leaning, songwriter driven arrangements, Bibelhauser Brothers project a fresh sound that aligns perfectly with Common Loon's mission to promote original roots music.
Identical twins and Kentuckians, Aaron (guitar) and Adam (bass), are joined on the road and in the studio by their lifelong heroes Jeff Guernsey (mandolin, fiddle), and Steve Cooley (banjo). Along with their instrumental prowess, the brothers’ voices combine into an unmistakable sonic powerhouse that can often be heard on stages and radio broadcasts around the country. Aaron is an award-winning songwriter, having penned chart-topping hits for renowned bluegrass acts including Del McCoury Band, Balsam Range, Dale Ann Bradley, and more. Jeff Guernsey and Steve Cooley have spent multiple decades performing bluegrass and country music in every corner of the globe with the likes of the Dillards, Vince Gill, and Steve Wariner.
Since forming in 2023, the Bibelhauser Brothers have released two full length albums (Close Harmony & LIVE) and have recently completed a third album Down the Road, which is set to release on October 1, 2025, on Common Loon Records. Their upcoming single “One Tin Soldier” drops on May 15th, and features fellow Kentuckian and Bluegrass Hall of Fame member, Sam Bush, on mandolin and lead vocal. This single will foreshadow an album full of more collaborations with the likes of Dale Ann Bradley, Michael Cleveland, John Cowan, and Scott T Smith.
"I first met Aaron and Jeff in Louisville, Kentucky, in studio during the recording of Michael Prewitt’s latest album, and I quickly realized their musical abilities were off the charts. Aaron’s songwriting and the album’s collaborations are pure excitement”, says Stickler. "We're fired up to have this record on the Common Loon label”.
When Stickler asked Fred Kosak and Allissa Wolf of Stillhouse Junkies what they thought of having the Bibelhauser Brothers on the label, they responded “The Bibelhauser Brothers have some of the finest pickers and singers that we’ve had the pleasure of hearing. We are so excited to have them as label mates!”
